We can divide grief into two groups - grief and unresolved grief. While grief is the normal and natural result of change or loss, many of us get stuck or weighed down by everything that feels unresolved when our loss occurs. Things that we wish were different, or better, or more. Really, anything emotional that needs to get expressed can result in feeling incomplete and in extra pain. We will always have our losses, but do not have to live solely in the shadow of our grief forever.
